How Do I Use Film Discovery?
Click the Film Discovery button at the top right of the screen.
Enter your request in the two search fields: In the first field, use detailed language to describe the film you are looking for, for example, specific events, time frames, geographic locations, the individuals or interviewees involved, and topics covered.
In the second field, detail the academic setting. This should include the course name, the age range of the students, the specific learning objectives, and the context in which the film will be viewed.
Film Discovery will then suggest the most relevant films from our collection.
To preview any title, simply sign up (or log in if you already have an account) to receive 48 hours of complimentary access.
How do I preview the suggested films?
To preview, you’ll need a Film Platform account. Log in if you already have one, or sign up with your institutional email for 48 hours of free preview access. During this time, you can watch the film as many times as you like, but please note that sharing or public screenings are not permitted.
Why isn't the film playing for me?
