In this visceral three-year race against time, Tim Carey, a talented, yet unknown LA artist bluffs his way into winning the commission to create the largest stained-glass window of its kind. The problem is, he doesn’t know how to make it. After a desperate search, he finds someone who might have the answer…a world famous glass maestro, named, Narcissus Quagliata. As the fates of three communities hang in the balance, Narcissus arrives like a storm, and everything changes.

Vitreonics seeks to pull back the veil on the magical world of fused glass, to capture stories from artists, scientists, collectors and influencers within this niche yet vibrant art form. Our goal is to broaden the reach of fused glass as art through the medium of film and video. Rooted in fun and shared through the unfiltered commentary of Tim Carey, these stories will be thoughtfully curated, always maintaining a careful balance between education and entertainment. The videos will be directed, produced and edited through the keen eye of award-winning director Justin Monroe. We welcome you along for this ride!
