The Chinese Lives Of Uli Sigg

.

The Swiss entrepreneur and world famous arts collector Uli Sigg went to China in 1979, when he negotiated the first joint venture between China and western business. He also established the world’s most significant collection of contemporary Chinese art. “However famous I become, he (Sigg) is the maker.” says Ai Wei Wei in the films opening scene. The majority of this collection (estimated worth tens of millions) will be transferred to Hong Kong’s M+ museum, due to open in 2019.
