Kathryn Millard
Kathryn Millard is a writer, filmmaker and dramaturg. Psychology, mental health, popular fallacies and the afterlife of images are recurring themes in her work which spans award-winning features, documentaries and hybrids. Kathryn’s films have been broadcast and screened widely at festivals and galleries. Awarded writing residencies at Varuna (Australia), National Film and Sound Archive (Australia) and the Tyrone Guthrie Centre (Ireland), Kathryn was Visiting Fellow in Film at Yale University in 2012. She is Professor of Screen and Creative Arts at Macquarie University, Sydney.
